Who is Jeff Gross You Ask? Let me start by saying I am someone who wants to help you. I want to help you succeed in every way, shape, and form. I am someone who does not want money from you for any of this help I am providing. You might be asking yourself: “Why would he do this, and if he is serious, what made him want to do this?” Great question, let me answer that for you in the best way I know how…with a story.
Ever since I was a child I remember wanting to help people. My mother and father always taught me to help others, without a guarantee of the favor being returned. I always felt good when I helped others and I felt even better when they returned the favor and made someone else’s day better as a result.
I made the decision at the age of eighteen to become an Occupational Therapist. I felt that this was my calling, and I was all ready to go. I had volunteered the 100 hours needed for the program pre-requisites at an Occupational Therapists practice that specialized in OT for children. I felt at home, and most importantly I knew I was helping others.
Everything was going as planned, I had already applied to the program and I needed only 4 measly credits to graduate with my Associates Degree and move on to my Occupational Therapy Program. I looked at the courses available and I found one that suited my needs perfectly! Computer Repair 101…4 Credits…on Saturdays (which allowed me to continue working full time to pay for college) it was perfect.
It was in this class that my life changes forever. The professor of this course told me point blank that I was meant to be in the computer industry. He told me that I absolutely had to reconsider my career choice as he felt I was going to be even better in this field. To make a long story short, I listened. I quit the job I was at during that time, and called off my enrollment in the Occupational Therapy program, all within a week’s time. MADNESS you say? Yeah, I thought so too, but I did it anyway.
To sum it up, this decision led me on a completely a new path, a path that has allowed me to help more people than I could have ever hoped for. That same year I started a computer business that led me to meet some very important and influential people. The computer business led me to discover Internet Marketing. I started to become curious about Search Engine Optimization, Pay Per Click, and other Internet Marketing practices.
During this time of learning Internet Marketing I was lucky enough to have met some incredibly helpful (and kind) individuals who took me under their wing and showed me the path to success. I can recall offhand at least a dozen individuals who took the time to help me and make sure I did not make the same mistakes they did. They made sure that I was on the right path, and did it for nothing. No money, no barters, no trades, they just did it because they wanted to help a fellow man. It was this kindness that leads me here to you today.
At the age of 22 I decided to take on Web Development and Internet Marketing full time (to replace the computer repair and networking business I mentioned earlier). I started to design, program, and promote websites for clients.
Just a year or so later I got the offer to teach Internet Marketing for Businesses and Marketing Yourself Online at a local college. This is an opportunity I accepted instantly and I knew, at that moment, I had found my calling.
This is how I could help people! I could help them launch the business of their dreams, or market themselves online successfully! This was truly my calling, to teach and share knowledge openly, and in many cases FOR FREE.
So this brings us to today, I have been teaching almost two years and I have achieved almost everything I could have ever hoped for. I have launched dozens of my “ideas” on the web and more are coming each and every day. I am at a place where I can now wholeheartedly help others and share the information that has brought me to this point.
This is the very nature of this website you have discovered. TheGrossLife.com is my attempt to give back to the world that has given me so much. In a way I am trying to replicate the help that was given to my by my mentors, but on a bigger scale.
All of the tutorials and advice given on this website is 100% free. This is the same knowledge, advice, and guidance I share with clients who pay A LOT for the same information I share here.
